Can JCA provide advice for a first time author?

Yes, every part of the publication journey, from the writing process to marketing your book is covered. We recommend the six part publishing masterclass for first time authors.

What is different about JCA?

JCA gives you access to a publishing expert who has global experience in every aspect of the book business. The knowledge shared with aspiring and established authors is unparalleled.

Do I need to be a professional writer to benefit from your services?

No. We welcome writers at all levels of experience. Jane has mentored many first time authors and understands what you need to know to make your book a success.

Can JCA provide advice for a published/established author?

Yes, we offer expert author coaching for established authors, especially if you wish to cross the bridge from traditional publishing to self-publishing (or vice versa). You will receive advice on how to build awareness, forge alliances, maximise your backlist sales and expand global reach.

I’m interested in self publishing — can you help?

Jane has a comprehensive working knowledge of leading self-publishing platforms including Ingram Spark and Amazon’s KDP. Jane knows the good and the bad of the self-publishing world and can help you avoid the many pitfalls. We recommend the self publishing masterclass.

Can you help me find a literary agent?

Jane has worked with the key literary agents in Australia and UK. As a JCA client, if your work is exceptional and/or saleable then an introduction can be facilitated.

Will Ventura Press publish my book?

As a JCA client, your work will be seen by the same team that selects titles for the Ventura list. If your work meets the Ventura criteria, then options are available to publish with Ventura.
